Web Design Trends for 2019

When was the last time you updated your website? If your car is newer than your web design, you're probably out of date. Put the Design back into web design with a site remodel.

3D Design

After several years of designs being fabulously flat, there’s a new sheriff in town — 3D. Breathe life into your projects by embracing 3D design elements. For example, the almost-stick figure way of illustrating humans in flat design can take on 3D form and be featured both in graphics and as avatars or brand mascots.

Bringing your life to work in 3D allows you to recreate the world around you and to construct new environments and dimensions. Expect to see designers use 3D elements to enhance web pages and to create AR and VR experiences.

Voice Interfaces

Voice-command interfaces or conversational devices are relevant because they reduce the time and effort of the interaction. With voice command we can log in to a platform, saving us the bother of remembering and typing passwords, navigating the application, understanding its interface, content structure, etc, soon we will be able to configure hundreds of actions and use a simple word as a trigger.

The famous Gartner report into emerging technologies predicts that 30% of webpage visits will be by voice in 2020 and ComScore estimates that in the same year voice will account for 50% of all searches.

Trendy Color Schemes

Black and White

Color is one of the most important elements in a website. It cultivates a mood, unifies a brand and guides users through an interface by creating visual landmarks. For 2019, we’re seeing daring black-and-white web design making impressive statements.

Color is literally how we see the world by light particles being absorbed. When color is missing, we begin to see the world differently: textures and shapes become clearer, and the world seems noticeably slower.

White by itself is clean and reserved whereas black is strong and assertive. Combine these and you get an altogether striking look.

Ironically, the biggest effect black-and-white designs can have is in their combination with minimal amounts of color. Adding an accent color will not only break up the sea of monochrome but will make points of interest and calls-to-action leap out.

Wine

Uncorked This palette uses warm and earthy monotones accented by a royal purple. The organic browns are soft and natural, while the saturated purple channels these warm elements with a much stronger chroma.
